Our organization is seeking a dependable and creative professional who has strong communication skills, prior experience as a restaurant bartender (Chain restaurants or steak house), and who can work well with a diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all types of liquor and will ensure that every customer receives a high level of personal attention at all times. We're looking for a restaurant bartender who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has great math skills, and can multitask effectively. This position will be for a restaurant bartender at Yager Lodge.
Responsibilities:
- Have extensive knowledge about appropriate serving sizes and moderate drinking.
- Be an active listener and have good communication skills.
- Be able to effectively use a cash register.
- Be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work well under pressure and in a stressful environment.
- Be able to keep up with busy periods.
- Be able to learn fast on house cocktails recipes and memorizes them.
- Have strong attention to detail.
- Determine what customers want by actively listening to them.
- Stock the bar with supplies.
- Carry heavy objects, get on your knees, bend, reach overhead regularly, and lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
Pay: $16.90 per hour
