Account Manager – Community Playthings

Redbridge Services is seeking a customer-focused, relationship-driven Account Manager to support Community Playthings, a long-established manufacturer of high-quality furniture and play equipment for schools, childcare centers, and educational organizations throughout the United States.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for educators, directors, and administrators, helping them create engaging learning environments while providing exceptional customer service and account support. This position combines consultative sales, account management, customer service, and business development in a mission-driven environment.

What You'll DoCustomer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, childcare centers, and educational organizations.
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Understand customer needs and provide thoughtful product recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain regular communication through phone, email, and virtual meetings.
Account Development & Sales Support
- Follow up on marketing campaigns, events, and lead lists.
- Develop new opportunities from warm leads and inactive accounts.
- Conduct outbound outreach to maintain customer engagement and account growth.
- Support inbound customer inquiries and requests.
Account & Order Management
- Prepare quotes and manage orders through Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Ensure accurate and timely customer communication throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and internal teams to ensure excellent customer experiences.
- Manage customer accounts from initial inquiry through order completion and ongoing support.
Industry & Customer Engagement
- Research and share relevant state and federal funding opportunities that may benefit customers.
- Attend conferences, trade shows, and training events (up to 8 trips per year) to represent Community Playthings and strengthen customer relationships.
- Support event staffing and customer engagement activities as needed.
Performance & Collaboration
- Track performance metrics and contribute to team goals.
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, manufacturing, and leadership teams.
- Uphold the values of craftsmanship, service, integrity, and respect in every customer interaction.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in:
- Customer Service
- Account Management
- Sales Support
- Relationship Management
- Experience within education, furniture, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Travel Requirements
- Occasional travel required (up to 8 times per year).
- Attendance at conferences, exhibitions, customer events, and training programs.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
