Assisted Living Nurse Manager

Shorehaven is seeking a Nurse Manager to join our Assisted Living leadership team. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys resident care but is also looking to grow their leadership skills and have a broader impact on residents, families, and staff.
As the Assisted Living Nurse Manager, you will help coordinate resident care and services while providing guidance, support, and leadership to our care team. You will work closely with residents, families, staff, and the facility Administrator to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
This position works Monday-Friday and will be part of the on-call rotation every other week.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and oversee resident care and services.
- Monitor resident needs and respond to changes in condition.
- Develop and update individualized plans of care.
- Communicate and build strong relationships with residents and families.
- Lead resident care planning conferences.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to care staff.
- Assist with staff training, orientation, and ongoing education.
- Support staff scheduling and daily household operations.
- Participate in the hiring and development of new team members.
- Promote resident choice, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Support regulatory compliance and quality improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with the facility Administrator and interdisciplinary team.
What We're Looking For
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nursing (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Experience in a senior living environment.
- Leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to coach, support, and develop staff.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort with electronic documentation and basic computer applications.
