Position Summary:
As a Cashier at Golden Chick, you are the face of our brand. You will provide fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests, ensuring a great first and last impression. Your role is critical in delivering exceptional hospitality while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail at the front counter and drive-thru.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests with a smile, friendly attitude, and warm hospitality.
- Accurately take guest orders using the POS system for dine-in, take-out, and drive-thru.
- Ensure all orders are correct and served in a timely manner.
- Handle all cash, credit, and digital transactions responsibly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, lobby, drink station, and restrooms.
- Refill condiments, utensils, napkins, and other supplies as needed.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management regarding customer needs and order modifications.
- Assist with bagging orders, prepping drinks, and assembling meals when needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
- Respond to guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to a manager when needed.
- Uphold Golden Chick’s standards for quality, speed, and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is a plus, but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
- Basic math and computer skills for operating POS and handling transactions.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Schedule & Availability:
- Must have flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Shifts may vary based on business needs.
