What You’ll Do
-
Serve as a technical resource supporting the maintenance team and plant operations

Diagnose and resolve issues to restore equipment uptime and maintain production flow

Partner closely with craft maintenance personnel, providing guidance and training as needed

Respond to equipment issues and breakdowns, including off-hours support as required
-
Analyze equipment performance and identify opportunities for reliability improvements

Support planning and execution of maintenance outages and repairs
-
Assist with small capital projects, equipment rebuilds, and spare parts management
-
Contribute to process and equipment design improvements
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methods
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges

Follow all safety, quality, and operational standards

Requires flexibility for shift and weekend support

Required Qualifications
-
Associate’s degree in a technical field

Minimum 2+ years of experience maintaining cranes, hoists, or lifting systems
-
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

5+ years of experience in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments

Experience with equipment failure analysis and reliability practices
-
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (lean, root cause analysis, etc.)

Knowledge of hydraulics, fluid systems, and equipment reliability

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability

Ability to work effectively across teams

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with standard computer applications (Microsoft Office)
