Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Long Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent LTC experience and be committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to residents in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the physician or nurse practitioner.
- Admit and discharge residents according to facility protocols.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
- Provide gastrostomy tube (G-tube) care and feeding.
- Perform urinary catheter care and management.
- Administer nebulizer treatments and respiratory care.
- Manage wound care, including wound VAC therapy.
- Provide CPAP care and other specialized nursing interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality resident care.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) License or willingness to obtain one upon offer acceptance (license must be active before the assignment begins).
- Minimum 2 years of recent Long Term Care (LTC) nursing experience.
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- Experience with medication administration, wound care, G-tube care, catheter care, and respiratory treatments.
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR is preferred.
- Ability to work varied 8-hour shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
Pay: $2,430.00 - $2,486.00 per week
