About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and safety-driven Industrial Ironworker to join our team on large-scale industrial and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fabricating, installing, and erecting structural steel and metal frameworks in environments such as steel mills, shipyards, power plants, and refineries.

Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans for structural installations.
- Erect, connect, and bolt-up beams, columns, girders, and steel frameworks.
- Install and align structural and ornamental steel componentsusing cranes, rigging, and hand tools.
- Weld, cut, and grind steel components as needed for fabrication or fit-up.
- Bolt or weld structural members into place using torque wrenches, impact tools, and welding equipment.
- Inspect structures and ensure all connections meet specifications and safety standards.
- Signal crane operators during hoisting and placement of materials.
- Assemble and install metal decking, handrails, ladders, and platforms.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including working with fall protection at heights.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, safe condition.
Requirements
? Minimum 3–5 years of ironworking or structural fitting experience.
? Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
? Must be comfortable working at heights and in outdoor conditions.
? Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
? Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel if needed.
? Must provide basic hand tools and PPE.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience in industrial environments (refineries, steel mills, shipyards, or power plants).
? Proficient in rigging, bolt-up, and layout.
? Welding certifications (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW) a plus.
? OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
? Strong teamwork and communication skills.
