Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Assembler/Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components, operating various tools and equipment, and ensuring the production process adheres to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
- Assemble products and components accurately following technical drawings, specifications, and production documents.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly.
- Use forklifts and manual handling techniques to move materials safely within the manufacturing facility.
- Interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation to meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Support process improvement initiatives by suggesting efficiencies in assembly procedures.
- Assist in managing production workflows on the assembly line, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and other tools to verify product specifications.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve issues promptly.
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with assembly line processes and manual handling is essential.
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and forklifts.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and manufacturing documents.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and lean manufacturing principles.
- Mechanical knowledge or background supporting mechanical assembly tasks is advantageous.
- Experience managing or supporting production teams and contributing to process improvements is a plus.
