Communications Coordinator Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain communication between customers and Olympia, this includes but is not limited to Podium messaging (texting), phone calls, and the general email account.
In charge of all retail customer sales for pumps, filters, heaters and robotic cleaners.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Phone Responsibilities:
- Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
- Evaluating communication strategies and campaigns to determine their effectiveness
- Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics
- Accurately relay messages to other team members
- Manage the company voicemail system
Text Support Duties:
- Support customers through our instant messaging service (Podium)
- Respond to messages in a timely manner
- Effectively use templates in Podium for faster replying
- Creating or modifying templates to fit the company’s needs
- Staying knowledgeable on products and services we offer
Email Duties:
- Manage the Olympia General email account
- Field through emails, responding in a timely manner
- Properly forward or copy in other team members
Store hours: 10-6 Monday through Friday, Saturday 10-4.
