Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and routine inspections on equipment while ensuring the overall upkeep, safety, and functionality of the facility.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
- Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, acquired through technical training and/or relevant work experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to safely handle and work with chemicals.
- Ability to wear a respirator, work in confined spaces, and follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Willingness to become forklift certified.
- Active participation in discussions related to equipment performance, repairs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, professional, and productive work environment.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency situations by working off-shifts, weekends, or overtime as needed, including participation in an on-call rotation schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and verify the proper operation of equipment, ensuring all work areas are clean upon completion.
- Perform and support preventive maintenance activities while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain equipment in safe and reliable operating condition.
- Complete and maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and required documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors throughout equipment repair projects and provide on-site support while contractors are working in the facility.
- Complete assigned maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in tracking and maintaining inventory of critical spare parts and repair components.
- Maintain organized, clean, and efficient maintenance work areas in accordance with 5S principles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure maintenance materials and supplies are properly received, organized, and available for use.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
