Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic 5th Grade Spanish Dual Language Teacher to inspire and educate students in a dynamic bilingual learning environment. This role involves delivering engaging instruction in both English and Spanish, fostering cultural awareness, and supporting students’ academic and social growth. Responsibilities
- Customize and internalize comprehensive lesson plans aligned with bilingual curriculum standards for 5th grade students.
- Deliver engaging instruction in both Spanish and English across core subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
- Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing methods and provide targeted tutoring or interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, special education strategies, and early intervention programs to support diverse learner needs.
- Mentor students individually or in small groups, especially those with autism or requiring early childhood education support, fostering their social-emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral data for education administration purposes.
- Engage with families through clear communication skills to share student progress and coordinate support strategies.
- Support library services by integrating literacy resources into daily lessons and encouraging independent reading habits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
- Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education with bilingual endorsement or enrolled in an Accredited ACP program.
- Proven classroom experience working with elementary-aged children.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools used in modern classrooms.
- Ability to work effectively with students with diverse needs including special education populations and those requiring early intervention services.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners effectively.
- Knowledge of Montessori or private school educational approaches is a plus; experience working with individuals with autism is highly valued.
- Demonstrated writing skills for creating detailed lesson plans, assessments, and educational reports.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
