GSC Surveying, Inc. is hiring the positions of Junior Party Chief and Instrument Person

Actively seeking highly motivated, meticulous and disciplined individuals in the areas of Heavy Civil, Commercial and Site Surveying.
Junior Party Chief:
- Working knowledge of GPS and Robotics.
- Minimum of 5 years in construction surveying.
- Working knowledge of Carlson SurvCE.
- Basic understanding of highway construction layout.
- Ability to Supervise, coordinate, direct and participate in activities related to construction surveying.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed field notes and record keeping of duties performed.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, drawings and CAD files for use in stakeout.
- Ability to actively participate in field survey work performed by Survey Instrument Operators and Survey Technicians to include operating survey instruments, acting as Chainman/Rodman etc. and other related surveying tasks.
- Ability to work in extreme conditions for extended periods of time.
Instrument Person:
- Working knowledge of Total Stations.
- Working knowledge of Carlson SurvCE.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed field notes and record keeping of duties performed.
- Ability to interpret construction plans, drawings and CAD files for use in stakeout.
- Ability to actively participate in field survey work performed by Survey Instrument Operators and Survey Technicians to include operating survey instruments, acting as Chainman/Rodman etc. and other related surveying tasks.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
