Job Overview
Located in Northern Virginia, American Executive Health System, (AEHS) is seeking to recruit a FT/PT, VA licensed, board-certified/board-eligible, family medicine or internal medicine, (MD/DO). The physician candidate will join a medical team consisting of family practice and cardiology physicians, and physician assistants. The role involves managing a panel of patients age 18+, with a focus on preventive care and chronic disease management. We constantly strive for work-life balance and a personalized work atmosphere. Flexible work schedule with no nights, no weekends, no hospital calls, and no after-hour calls because we believe physicians who are well rested deliver better care. Both new graduates and experienced providers are welcome to apply. Dedicated clinical mentorship from experienced primary care faculty for new and recent graduates.

Provider's responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments to determine health status
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Follow up on lab and test results
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Supervising and receiving support from physician assistants
- Collaborate with specialists for referrals and coordinated care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Participate in employer required meetings
- Ensure all payor key metrics and quality scores are met
Requirements
- MD or DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible primary care physician
- New graduates welcome
