Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Cafe Worker Fry/Grill Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting delicious fried and grilled menu items that delight our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fried and grilled menu items with precision and consistency, adhering to recipes and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers, grills, ovens, and other appliances safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas following food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Assist with food production tasks including food handling, portioning, plating, and meal assembly in accordance with health regulations.
- Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on ingredient availability and preparation techniques.
- Follow food safety management protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences in a fast-paced setting, demonstrating strong knife skills and grilling techniques
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment, especially with high-volume production.
- Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling practices, and kitchen equipment operation.
- Demonstrated culinary experience with expertise in grilling, braising, poaching, and recipe adherence.
- Ability to follow detailed recipes accurately.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in meal preparation.
- Prior experience in the food industry settings is advantageous
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
