What You’ll Do:
The Garment Tagger plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our dry cleaning operations. This position is responsible for tagging and sorting before they move through the cleaning process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accurately tag garments using the point-of-sale system
- Match garments with correct customer tickets and service instructions
- Inspect items for damage, missing buttons, stains, or special care requirements and report findings
- Sort garments by cleaning method, color, or service type
- Ensure all items are properly identified to prevent loss or misplacement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively with production
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
What We’ll Love About You:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle garments throughout
- Basic computer or POS system skills (training provided)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Prior experience in dry cleaning or laundry operations is a plus, but not required
