Overview
We’re a locally owned granite and natural stone shop in Laredo looking for a motivated Office Manager Assistant to join our team and support our daily administrative operations. This paid position is a great opportunity to grow your office and organizational skills while contributing to a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Duties
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and reminders for managers, team members, and executives.
- Provide administrative support to the company manager, including organizing documents, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and messages professionally, and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Coordinate internal communication between departments to help ensure tasks and projects are completed on time.
- Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, for easy access to important company information.
- Help track deadlines, appointments, deliveries, and ongoing projects to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform additional administrative duties and special projects as assigned by management.
- Must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed, including assisting in the office, showroom, warehouse, and outdoor stone/slab yard areas.
Experience
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgment, and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Proven office management or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Communication and computer skills. (Google Sheets, Docs and Hotmail)
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
