- -2 days per week from 9am-3pm additional hours available if desired.
- The days of the week are Monday/Tuesday and we could be flexible to moving these days. We are closed on Wednesday & Sunday
We are searching for a certified nurse-midwife or nurse practitioner for a Prenatal Care practice.
Ideal candidate:
We are an antepartum-only, low-risk clinic in the hispanic community. Our ideal provider would enjoy working with a diverse population and be a great communicator. We are looking for someone with high-level skills who trusts themselves and can work with a team of dedicated medical assistants. Bilingual (english/spanish) is a plus but not required. Office culture is important to us, and we want it to be important to you.
Daily Job Duties:
Performs physical examinations, orders diagnostic tests, prescribes non-controlled substances, improve and implement care plans, including the administration of medication and case management. Independently performs patient care as a CNM in the Family Planning, Maternity, and STD office.
Requests guidance and oversight from the supervising physician when needed.
Actions performed at this level require licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife by state code.
Minimum Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge in the primary care of maternity, family planning, and STD patients. Demonstrate experience and skill in performing patient clinical and physical assessments. Ability to adjust to the health needs of culturally diverse populations. Ability to provide patient education in health maintenance, health promotion, and disease prevention. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
- You will not be on call for hospital care and will not be performing deliveries
