Overview: The Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining the overall condition, safety, and appeal of the community. This position is responsible for completing apartment turns, addressing service requests, and ensuring the upkeep of buildings and grounds. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and skilled in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
This role requires the ability to work independently while following all safety standards and company policies. The Maintenance Technician directly impacts resident satisfaction by delivering timely, high-quality service and ensuring homes and common areas are consistently maintained to professional standards.
Primary Duties:

Complete resident service requests accurately and within required timelines, ensuring quality and consistency
- Provides a high level of customer service and always represents the company in a professional manner to promote a positive work environment and resident living experience
Support the Maintenance Supervisor in executing efficient, high-quality apartment turns within designated timeframes
- Maintains grounds, common areas, amenities, pool, and overall curb appeal to keep them clean, free of litter and presentable at all times
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, including pool equipment
Maintain all required certifications and licenses in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Works directly with maintenance supervisor and vendors to oversee completion of site projects
- Maintains order and cleanliness in the maintenance shop

Performs routine preventative maintenance and biannual unit inspections and reports any unusual or extraordinary circumstances to the maintenance supervisor or community manager regarding the property or the residents
Uphold professional appearance standards and demonstrate pride, accountability, and attention to detail in all work
Performs other duties as necessary to meet the needs of upper management, residents, and the property.

2+ years related experience preferred
