Duties

- Support the kitchen team in meal preparation and cooking tasks as directed
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Help with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs
- Collaborate with chefs and dietary staff to ensure menu items are prepared efficiently and accurately
Skills
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Familiarity with menu planning and meal assembly processes
- Proven skills in food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
