Pay: $25.00–$31.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
We're seeking an Accounts Receivable / Agency Service Representative who enjoys combining accounting skills with exceptional customer service. This is not a collections position. Instead, you'll serve as a trusted resource for insurance agents and vendors by answering account-related questions, researching payment discrepancies, processing transactions, and helping maintain accurate financial records.

- Respond to inbound calls from insurance agents and vendors regarding account statements, balances, and payment inquiries
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, duplicate payments, and reconciliation issues
- Apply premium payments accurately and process daily deposits
- Process EFTs, credit balances, direct bill payments, and mortgagee checks
- Maintain assigned accounts receivable portfolio with a goal of keeping accounts current
- Prepare weekly reports, including uncleared cash reports and status updates
- Generate payment reminders and account correspondence
- Review invoices and finance chargebacks to ensure account accuracy
- Process incoming mail, payments, and supporting documentation
- Support daily accounting operations while maintaining exceptional customer service
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounting Support, Payment Processing, Cash Applications, Reconciliations, or Bookkeeping
- Strong customer service skills with confidence handling inbound phone calls
- Excellent problem-solving and research abilities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Insurance industry experience is strongly preferred but not required.
We're looking for candidates who are comfortable with technology and eager to learn.

- Ability to quickly learn new software systems
Preferred:
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies is a plus.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Recent graduates with internship experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields are encouraged to apply if they have strong technical and computer skills.
