About the Role
Lexagle is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to help us elevate product
quality across our contract management platform. You will work closely with
Product, Tech, Projects, and QA leadership to ensure reliable, consistent, and
high-quality releases across our web applications and client-facing workflows.
This role is ideal for someone who is strong in structured manual testing,
comfortable working with complex workflows and enterprise clients, and
excited about the opportunity to gradually adopt AI-assisted test authoring
and light test automation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Coverage
Review product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and
Figma designs to define comprehensive test scenarios.
Convert high-level requirements into structured test cases (functional,
regression, edge-case, and negative testing).
Ensure comprehensive coverage across user workflows, approval rules,
document configurations, and core product functionality.
2. Manual Functional Testing
Execute manual test cases for new features, enhancements, and bug
fixes.
Perform regression testing across our frontend applications to ensure
stable and consistent user-facing behaviour.
Validate end-to-end flows involving contract creation, approval routing, e-
signing, metadata rules, and user permissions.
Raise well-documented defects in ClickUp with reproduction steps,
environment details, and severity assessments.
3. Quality Gatekeeping for Releases
Participate in sprint ceremonies and release sign-off discussions. Ensure all critical features and affected areas are validated before
deployment.
Collaborate with Tech and Product to reproduce, triage, and verify bug
fixes.
Perform smoke checks and sanity testing across staging and production
environments.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with Product Managers and Designers to clarify expected
behaviour.
Coordinate with the Projects team for client-specific workflow validations.
Collaborate with Developers to understand underlying data models,
system behavior, and edge cases.
5. (Nice-to-Have) AI-Assisted & Automation Testing
Not required, but strong advantages:
Experience using AI tools to draft or enhance test cases.
Exposure to Playwright, Selenium, or Mabl for automated regression
tests.
Ability to maintain simple automated scripts for repetitive or regression-
heavy flows.
Interest in evolving into hybrid “manual + AI-assisted automation” testing.
6. Quality Documentation
Maintain clear test case libraries, regression checklists, and standard
operating procedures.
Track test progress, defect trends, and QA metrics (leakage, density,
coverage) as part of Lexagle’s engineering scorecard.
Assist in improving our QA processes, templates, and internal knowledge
base.
Skills & QualificationsRequired
2–4 years of software testing or QA experience.
Strong understanding of functional testing, exploratory testing, and
regression testing.
Ability to design high-quality test cases from ambiguous or complex
requirements.
Familiarity with web technologies: browsers, responsive UIs, frontend
behaviours.
Excellent documentation skills and strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Nice-to-Have (Not Required)
Experience with API tools (Postman, Swagger) for basic request/response
validation.
Experience with test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or
Mabl).
Ability to write or maintain simple automated tests.
Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
Experience testing enterprise systems or complex workflow engines.
What Success Looks Like
High coverage of functional and edge-case scenarios for every release.
Reduction in bug leakage to staging and production.
Ability to quickly understand complex workflow/approval logic and test it
rigorously.
Smooth collaboration with Tech, Product, Projects, and the QA Lead.
Ability to contribute to structured regression suites and, optionally, light
automation with AI assistance. Why Join Lexagle
