About the Role
Lubbock Heights Apartments is looking for a friendly, motivated Leasing Agent to be the face of our community. This is an on-site, in-person role where you'll spend your day welcoming prospective residents, showing apartments, and helping current residents feel at home. If you enjoy meeting new people, take pride in great customer service, and like staying active rather than sitting at a desk all day, we'd love to meet you.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents and conduct in-person tours of available apartments, model units, and community amenities.
- Assist prospects throughout the leasing journey — answering questions, explaining floor plans, pricing, and promotions, and following up to help them choose their new home.
- Provide warm, responsive, in-person service to current residents, addressing questions and concerns and directing maintenance or other needs to the right team member.
- Respond promptly to phone, email, and walk-in inquiries, and schedule tours and appointments.
- Assist collecting information for rental applications
- Maintain knowledge of current availability, pricing, specials, and the surrounding neighborhood.
- Keep the leasing office, units, and tour path clean, welcoming, and show-ready.
- Accurately record prospect and resident interactions in the property management system and maintain leasing files.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, customer-first attitude.
- Comfortable walking the property and conducting multiple tours throughout the day, indoors and outdoors, in varying weather.
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple prospects and tasks at once.
- Basic computer skills (email, internet, and property management or CRM software).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus but not required we will train the right person.
- Availability to work weekends as scheduled, since these are peak leasing days.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $12–$15 per hour, depending on experience. Performance Bonus eligible
- Status: Full-time, on-site at Lubbock Heights Apartments in Lubbock, TX.
- Schedule includes weekends as part of the regular leasing week.
