Position Overview
The Service Porter is a critical part of our daily operations. This position helps ensure a smooth flow of vehicles, customers, and operations throughout the repair center.
The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-focused, organized, and willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with directing them to the appropriate team member.
- Move customer and company vehicles safely throughout the facility.
- Provide customer shuttle transportation when needed.
- Maintain parking lot organization and vehicle staging.
- Wash, clean, and detail customer vehicles as assigned.
- Pick up automotive parts and supplies from vendors.
- Receive and organize inventory and parts deliveries.
- Assist technicians and service advisors with operational support tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shop, customer waiting areas, parking lot, and facility.
- Support opening and closing duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous porter, dealership, automotive, valet, or customer service experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a background screening and company compliance requirements.
