We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista & Sales Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for a people-oriented person who has a love for crafting high-quality beverages and thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience as a barista, with a strong background in preparing specialty drinks, along with solid sales and communication skills to enhance our customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and specialty beverages according to our café standards.
- Engage with customers to understand and fulfill their needs, offering menu suggestions and answering questions.
- Handle retail sales by guiding customers in choosing products, informing them about promotions, and processing transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and retail area to ensure a pleasant environment for customers.
- Manage inventory by restocking supplies, conducting regular inventory checks, and notifying management of any low-stock items.
- Collaborate with the team to create a warm, inviting atmosphere that reflects our brand’s identity and values.
- Actively contribute ideas for improving the customer experience and promoting our offerings.
Experience
- At least 1 year as a barista, with a demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality coffee and specialty drinks.
- Strong ability to engage with customers, understand their preferences and offer recommendations. Friendly, outgoing, and genuinely enjoys interacting with people.
- Experience with sales and a passion for connecting customers with the right products.
- Experience using POS systems.
- Strong focus on drink presentation, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed.
