We are looking for someone to join our team part time. This will be a regularly scheduled position every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday day shift from 0600-1800.
The Registered Nurse Utilizes the nursing process, nursing diagnoses, and nursing interventions and is accountable to the patient, family and peers for delivery of optimum care in order that the organization can fulfill its primary mission of providing comfortable, safe, medically monitored detox. The nurse must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served at White Sage Recovery – Drug & Alcohol Detox. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age-specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in the facility’s policies and procedures.
1. Assess critical care needs of patients and provide nursing care.
2. Formulate and implement care plans.
3. Initiate and manage withdrawal regimes.
4. Administer medications and treatments.
5. Provide physical and emotional support for patients and their families.
6. Knowledge of recovery and an understanding of chemical dependency.
7. Collaborate with team members and treatment facilities to ensure continuity of care.
8. Excellent customer-facing and phone skills.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop relationships with clients,
staff, and providers.
10. Strong leadership skills.
11. Strong organization skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage time to
meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
12. Education: must have graduated from an accredited nursing program.
13. Licensing: Must have RN license or be license-eligible in the state in which they are
being hired (Utah, ID, and/or Nurse Licensure Compact).
Pay: From $33.00 per hour
