Men’s Card Room Attendant
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Men’s Card Room Attendant to provide exceptional service in a private, club-like environment. This role involves managing the card room area, ensuring a comfortable and engaging experience for members. The attendant will also serve as a bartender within the card room, preparing cocktails and serving food to enhance the social atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Duties
- Greet members and guests upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the card room area.
- Serve food and beverages, including making cocktails as needed, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Assist in setting up tables for card games or other activities, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Manage bar inventory, restocking supplies as necessary.
- Enforce house rules and ensure compliance with safety standards within the card room.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to enhance members’ experience during their visit.
- Handle cash transactions or point-of-sale operations related to food and beverage sales.
- Address member inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in bartending or food service is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and food service standards.
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for a private club setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
