Duties
- Provide expert hair styling, coloring, and hair extension services using current techniques and color theory principles
- Perform specialized services such as eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading to enhance client satisfaction
- Maintain salon sanitation standards rigorously to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Operate salon software systems like MINDBODY for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail transactions
- Assist clients with retail sales of hair products, skincare items, and beauty accessories through effective upselling and product knowledge
- Manage front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries with excellent communication skills
- Mentor junior team members in hair styling techniques, sanitation practices, and customer service excellence
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license with comprehensive knowledge of hair styling techniques and salon procedures
- Experience with hair extensions, color and cuts
- Proficiency in salon software systems such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for booking and client management
- Strong understanding of color theory to create customized color treatments for diverse client needs
- Knowledge of sanitation standards to uphold health regulations within the salon environment
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Store management experience or mentoring skills are a plus but not required

Pay: $23.87 - $28.74 per hour
