We’re looking for an experienced Service Sprinkler tech to install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in a commercial, and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to plan layout of sprinkler systems.
- Cut, thread, assemble and install pipes, fittings, valves, hangers, supports.
- Install sprinkler heads, risers, and related devices (alarms, valves, backflow prevention).
- Pressure test systems, inspect for leaks, perform maintenance & repairs.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA and local fire/safety codes.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
- Respond to emergency repair calls as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience installing and repairing fire protection sprinkler systems.
- Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read blueprints / technical drawings.
- Knowledge of relevant codes (NFPA, local, etc.).
Preferred / Additional:
- Certifications (NICET, Backflow, etc.).
- Completion of apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Experience with dry pipe, deluge, pre‐action systems.
- Strong communication skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
