Chicago Prime Tours is seeking professional, customer-focused CDL drivers for a year-round position operating premium sightseeing tours in downtown Chicago.

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Tour Bus Driver, operating CDL A or B vehicles with passenger and air brake endorsements. Duties
- Safely operate tour buses and coaches, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport passengers to various destinations, including scenic sites, events, or scheduled routes with a focus on comfort and punctuality
- Work together with Chicago Prime Tours Tour Guide Team
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checking mechanical systems, brakes, tires, and fluid levels
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing excellent customer service and addressing any needs or concerns
- Maintain clear communication with dispatchers and team members regarding schedules, route changes, or safety issues
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations related to commercial driving and passenger safety
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Experience
- Valid CDL A or B license with passenger endorsement and air brake endorsement required
- Prior experience in bus driving, coach operation, or shuttle driving preferred
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and basic vehicle maintenance practices
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members
- Customer service experience demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness to passenger needs
- Ability to handle driving responsibilities confidently while maintaining high safety standards

- 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Consistent, guaranteed full-time hours
- Home every evening
This position requires drivers to garage in and garage out in Des Plaines, but the tour operations take place in downtown Chicago.
