Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
- Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering procedures, including cash management and basic math calculations
- Support customers with banking-related inquiries such as account information, deposits, withdrawals, and loan processing
- Maintain knowledge of financial software systems to facilitate sales and customer account management
- Ensure the sales floor is organized, stocked, and visually appealing to maximize customer engagement
- Handle customer questions or concerns professionally, offering solutions that promote satisfaction and loyalty
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Knowledge of banking operations or financial services is a plus
- Strong math skills, including retail math and 10 key typing proficiency for accurate transactions
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately during sales transactions
- Familiarity with financial software applications used in retail or banking settings
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash responsibly and manage cash registers efficiently
