Job Summary
TownePlace Suites by Marriott is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Evening Laundry Attendant / Houseman to support our housekeeping team during evening hours. This position plays a key role in ensuring our hotel operates smoothly by maintaining linen quality, supporting public area cleanliness, and assisting housekeeping with daily operational needs.
This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean and organized spaces, and works well independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate washers and dryers to clean, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, and bedding to Marriott standards
- Organize and maintain linen inventory to ensure adequate supply for daily operations
- Keep laundry room clean, safe, and well-organized at all times
- Assist housekeeping by delivering linens and supplies to floors as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobby, hallways, and guest common areas
- Remove trash and maintain waste areas in a clean and orderly manner
- Support light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, mopping, and spot-cleaning as needed
- Respond promptly to team or guest requests with a positive and helpful attitude
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
- Ability to work independently and stay productive during evening shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 30+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed
Schedule
- Part-time evening hours (flexible scheduling based on business needs)
- Weekend and holiday availability may be required
