A/B-Level Auto Service Technician (Full-Time)
(EMC Service Center) — Middletown, CT
EMC Service Center, formally known as European Motorcars, is hiring an experienced A/B-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Department. We’re an established independent dealership with a clean, professional shop environment and steady work ranging from scheduled maintenance to advanced diagnostics and engine repair. 2026 marks our 43rd year in business.
Pay: Starting at $40-$45/hour (based on experience) incl. weekly performance/commission incentives
Schedule: Monday–Friday (No Weekends)

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years professional technician experience and/or formal training required
- ASE certifications preferred (not required)
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must have own tools
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair work as specified on repair orders
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, document findings, and provide time/labor estimates to service advisors
- Communicate with service advisors when additional services are recommended/required
- Diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools/equipment and databases
- Perform repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Test/inspect vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality
- Proficiency across a broad range of repairs/services including brakes, suspension, emissions, fuel delivery, computer controls, and electrical diagnostics
- Stay current with new technical information and repair techniques
- Follow all company policies and procedures

European Motorcars is a full independent dealership operating a full Service Department in Middletown, CT, known as EMC Service Center. We handle factory-level service and repair including scheduled maintenance, tires/brakes, oil services, in-depth diagnostics, and engine service/repair.
