Responsibilities:
- Accurately perform data entry related to prescription processing
- Contact patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and confirm medication details
- Fill and dispense medications as prescribed, ensuring patient allergies are thoroughly checked and accounted for
- Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism following organizational protocols
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction and support pharmacy workflow
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in Arizona with a clean record
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent retail pharmacy experience, demonstrating strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and customer interaction
- Proficiency with Pioneer Rx system or ability to learn quickly
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills essential to the role
Team Environment:
You will be working alongside one Registered Pharmacist, one clean room technician, and one retail technician, managing a script volume of under 100 prescriptions per day—an environment conducive to precise, patient-focused service.
