Duties
- Manage all aspects of DMV-related services including vehicle registration, title transfers, license plate issuance, and state compliance documentation.
- Process insurance paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with state transportation regulations and dealership standards.
- Engage in outbound sales efforts by informing clients about additional services such as insurance policies or vehicle upgrades to expand the sales pipeline.
- Maintain detailed records of transactions using Microsoft Office tools and dealership management software like CDK; ensure data entry accuracy for all client files.
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding clients through DMV procedures, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly via phone or in person.
- Oversee inventory management of registration plates, insurance forms, and related supplies to ensure availability and proper inventory control.
- Assist with retail sales activities including high-end vehicle sales, retail math calculations, and processing automotive repair or dealership paperwork.
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive sales or dealership environments with familiarity in automotive repair processes and title processing.
- Strong knowledge of state transportation regulations, DMV procedures, and automotive paperwork processing.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales or outbound sales roles with a focus on client communication and relationship building.
- Multilingual skills (bilingual preferred) to effectively communicate with diverse customer bases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data entry accuracy, inventory management, and retail math calculations.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with phone etiquette and public speaking abilities to confidently engage with clients.
- Prior experience with CDK or similar dealership management software is highly desirable.
