Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with experience in guiding children, developing curriculum, and teaching social/emotional and self-help skills. The Daycare Teacher will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment that meets the needs of each child.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Guide and support children in developing self-help skills, such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages social interactions and emotional growth.
- Monitor and assess each child’s progress, providing individualized support and adapting teaching methods as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on their child’s progress and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other required training.
- Adhere to all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
Qualifications: •EEC certified teachers preferred or assistant teachers with multiple years of experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
