Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your energy, attention to safety, and willingness to learn will contribute directly to the successful completion of diverse projects. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, tools, and equipment around the site
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks including rebar installation, formwork construction, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Help with concrete cutting, concrete mixing using mixers, and concrete pumping as needed for various projects
- Interpret basic blueprints and technical drawings to assist in project execution
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents and injuries
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related labor role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret simple schematics, blueprints, or technical drawings
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Skills in carpentry, masonry, roofing, or stucco work are advantageous
- Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or heavy equipment operation is a plus
