HealthSource Chiropractic of Decatur is seeking a dependable, coachable Clinical Therapy & Patient Flow Assistant.
This role primarily supports patient flow, passive therapies, treatment-room preparation, sanitation, and the overall clinical experience. As proficiency develops, the employee may gradually cross-train in basic administrative and front-desk responsibilities.
No previous chiropractic experience is required. Structured training, documented procedures, and clear expectations are provided.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet and guide patients through treatment areas
- Prepare, clean, sanitize, and reset treatment rooms
- Assist with passive therapies according to clinic protocols
- Set patients up for spinal decompression and electrical stimulation
- Support laser therapy and X-ray room workflow
- Monitor patient comfort during therapies
- Keep clinical areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Help patients transition efficiently between rooms
- Support the doctor and front desk during busy periods
- Identify and complete needed tasks without constant reminders
This position does not diagnose patients, alter treatment plans, or make independent clinical decisions.
Administrative Cross-Training: After demonstrating consistency in the clinical role, the employee may be trained to assist with:
- Insurance verification
- Scheduling and schedule cleanup
- Document scanning and preparation
- Patient statements and balance follow-up
- Accounts-receivable support
- Personal-injury case organization
- Front-desk overflow and office projects
Cross-training and expanded responsibilities are based on accuracy, reliability, competence, and clinic needs.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent attendance
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to safely learn and operate clinic equipment
- Ability to lift approximately 25–35 pounds when needed
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move between treatment rooms
Healthcare, patient-care, administrative, scheduling, insurance, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule and Compensation: This position will begin at approximately 15–25 hours per week, with a combination of morning and afternoon shifts based on patient-flow needs. Starting pay is $15 per hour.
A performance and compensation review will generally occur within the first 60–90 days. Increased pay, hours, and responsibilities will be based on demonstrated competence, reliability, productivity, initiative, and clinic needs.
