The Orange Southwest School District is seeking a paraprofessional for our RAVEN program. RAVEN is an alternative placement program for students who have experienced difficulty being successful in regular education programs. RAVEN offers group and individualized activities designed to teach students to receive direction and instruction, complete tasks, increase problem-solving skills and work within a team. The successful candidate will be dedicated and student-centered to support teaching and learning, working closely with colleagues to provide student support, assist with small-group instruction, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students.
The ideal candidate is flexible, even tempered, adaptable to in the moment changes, collaborative, and passionate about supporting students growth and development. Having a passion for the trades or previous trade experiences is preferred but not required. This is a school-year position with opportunities to make a meaningful impact each day.This is a benefits eligible position with an increased hourly rate with college credits.
