Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities in the community
- Implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual’s needs to encourage positive behaviors and social interactions
- Provide transportation using agency vehicle to community events, appointments, and recreational activities
- Pick up /drop off clients to there homes before and after ADS programs
- Collect and document data related to client progress, behavior patterns, Outcomes and service delivery to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance
- Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict safety standards
- Engage clients in social activities and community outings that foster inclusion, skill-building, and confidence
- Collaborate with families, behavioral health professionals, educators, and other team members to develop individualized support plans that reflect each person’s unique needs and goals
Experience
- Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly preferred
- Home and community care experience demonstrates your capability to provide compassionate support in various settings
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and behavior management techniques is advantageous
- Strong communication skills are essential for building trusting relationships and effectively advocating for clients
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required for transportation responsibilities
- Experience assisting with medication administration ensures safety and compliance in client care

Pay: $18.13 - $21.13 per hour
