Duties and Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy services for our outpatient clinic in compliance with policies and procedures established by Hand Over Hand OT
Provide quality patient care in conjunction with educational training of patient, family and supportive personnel
Maintain patient occupational therapy records by recording client’s progress for use by the occupational therapist
Follow treatment plan developed in collaboration with occupational therapist
Completed other responsibilities as requested by management
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited program for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants
Current license as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of New York
Must have a strong commitment to a team dynamic as well as an ability to take initiative
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to effectively relate to all medical staff and patients.
