Who We Are
At The Scholars’ Grove, our mission is to empower schools and families by providing skilled intervention professionals who implement specialized reading, writing, and math programs proven to increase scores of struggling students. We also provide Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Counseling services.
Our Founder & CEO is a teacher turned School Psychologist with over 20 years of educational experience. She created The Scholars' Grove in response to the frustration schools and families face over lack of resources that provide real results for struggling students.
What You'll Do
As a Speech Therapist at The Scholars' Grove, your tasks will include:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders (in person)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills (in person)
- Monitor and document patient progress (very little paperwork, no IEP meetings)
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on speech and language development strategies
- Logging your sessions worked into our convenient online portal
What You'll Need
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working as a Speech Pathologist preferred
- Knowledge of various assessment tools and therapy techniques for speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and families
