RPO Incorporated has been providing comprehensive construction consulting since 1987. Our team performs code and zoning review and facilitates all municipal requirements from pre-construction to project completion.
We assist property and business owners, real estate developers, contractors, architects, engineers, and managing agents by advising about City regulations and how to maintain compliance.
We are currently hiring a full-time Assistant Project Manager. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is a punctual, reliable, team player with a good work ethic and who enjoys a rewarding and fast-paced work environment.
Primary Responsibilities (include the following, but are not limited to):
- Maintain DOB permit renewals
- Maintain contractor insurances and registrations
- File applications and process payments with NYC agencies including but not limited to DOB, FDNY, Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC), Borough Manager’s Office, etc.
Key requirements:
- Must possess a valid Class 1 NYC DOB Filing Representative ID and have knowledge of New York City construction permit processes.
- Understanding of project filing techniques DOB, FDNY, LPC
- Experience with filing through sign-off of alterations, new building and demolition
- Ability to effectively work with clients and City Officials
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Coordinate and track the progress of the filings
