Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of our state-of-the-art tractor-trailers to deliver freight across various routes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate different types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. You will be an essential part of our logistics network, navigating over-the-road (OTR) routes and managing complex cargo handling with precision. Your expertise in commercial truck driving will help us maintain our reputation for reliability and excellence on every mile.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated, flatbed, and tanker trucks, adhering to all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) standards.
- Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure efficient delivery schedules while complying with route driving protocols.
- Load and unload freight manually or with appropriate equipment, managing logistics cargo handling with care for hazardous materials and dangerous goods when applicable.
- Transport automobile parts or other cargo over long-distance OTR routes, ensuring secure load & unload procedures are followed precisely.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking for hazards related to hazardous materials regulations if transporting dangerous goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route adjustments, or safety concerns during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record and proven experience in commercial truck driving.
- Demonstrated experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, hazardous materials regulations, and hazard communication standards.
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and handle manual loading/unloading tasks efficiently.
- Experience with GPS navigation systems for route planning and execution on over-the-road (OTR) routes.
- Strong understanding of logistics cargo handling procedures for freight including dangerous goods and hazardous materials when necessary.
- Excellent driving skills focused on safety, compliance, and customer service excellence.

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week
