Job Description:
The main responsibility for direct care is to provide support and care for the youth living in the home and to maintain a safe environment within the home. Assist peers by directing interactions, including but not limited to behavioral management, and facilitating therapeutic, recreational and social life skills. We are looking for energetic, outgoing, creative individuals whose personal qualities included integrity, patience, flexibility, ability to work as a team, admin skills, problem solving skills, deescalation skills and sound judgment.
Awake overnight staff are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of sleeping clients.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Role model the expected behavior per policy
2. Interactive supervision
3. Maintain the health, safety and welfare of both client and staff
4. Follow the daily schedule
5. Complete daily documentation as specified
6. House must be kept clean at all times
7. Transporting clients - Appointments, outings, shopping, church, etc.
8. Maintain all company and state required training and certifications 9. Cooking meals 10. Medication administration
Qualifications:
-Pass a background check
-Fingerprint Level 1 clearance card
-First Aid/CPR
-Arizona Driver’s License and reliable transportation
-High School Diploma/GED or higher
-21 years of age or older
-Able to work independently and make sound decision
