As a Sugarist, you will specialize in hair removal techniques using natural sugar-based waxes, delivering smooth results while ensuring a comfortable experience for clients. Responsibilities
- Perform professional hair removal treatments using sugar waxing techniques on various body areas with precision and care
- Provide personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatments
- Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards throughout all procedures to ensure client safety and comfort
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, skincare routines, and product recommendations to enhance results
- Utilize salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage daily operations
- Offer additional beauty services including body waxing, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and nail care to enhance client satisfaction
- Stay current with industry trends and new treatment techniques related to esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and other advanced skincare options
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales of skincare or beauty products with excellent customer service skills
- Skilled in esthetic laser treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, dermabrasion, and makeup application
- Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment scheduling and client management
- Proficient in hair threading techniques and nail care services
- Strong understanding of sanitation protocols and safety standards within a beauty or medical spa environment
- Licensed cosmetologist or esthetician with relevant certifications in cosmetology or barbering preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients while maintaining a lively, positive attitude
