The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational HR support for LAX Landside and Palm Springs operations in a fast-paced airport environment. This role coordinates employee records, compliance activities, personnel transactions, employee support, and HR processes to ensure accurate, timely, and consistent execution of human resources programs. Monday-Friday-on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support badging processes for new hires.
- Maintain accurate personnel files, HR records, and HRIS data while ensuring confidentiality, data integrity, including corrective actions, injury reports, medical records, drug and alcohol testing records, absence reports and other employment related documentation.
- Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees and leaders; escalate complex issues as appropriate.
- Assist employees with MyHR transactions, leave administration, personal data updates, transfers, and job changes.
- Prepare HR correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation.
- Partner with operational leaders to support attendance management, policy administration, and team member communications.
- Assist with audits, payroll documentation reviews, Employee Corrective Notices (ECNs), and regulatory compliance activities.
- Monitor and track Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) matters, including seniority lists, union meeting notices, and required follow-up actions.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives that support a 24/7 operation.
Pay: $28.00 - $31.00/an hour
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.- 1–3 years of HR, administrative, or coordination experience.
- Experience in aviation, transportation, logistics, hospitality, or other fast-paced operational environments preferred.
- Knowledge of HR administration, employee records management, and employment documentation.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with HRIS systems is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, leaders, and cross-functional teams.
