We are seeking a dedicated and reliable General Labor/Janitorial Associate to join our manufacturing facility team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment that supports our production operations. Duties
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the manufacturing facility, including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitation of work areas.
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, equipment cleaning, and ensuring tools are organized and in good condition.
- Support assembly line operations by handling materials, organizing supplies, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely to move materials and products within the facility.
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, disassembly, or repair tasks as needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and safety equipment; report shortages or issues promptly.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to support manufacturing processes and maintain operational efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in factory or manufacturing environments; warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and manufacturing procedures.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cleaning, maintenance, and material handling.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and equipment maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively within diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
