As a Pharmacist Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring clinical protocols and guidelines and enhancing the delivery of evidence based medicine. You will serve as the expert medication management team member in collaboration with medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff. You will provide medication distribution support, order entry, clinical intervention, research, performance and quality improvement, and representation at the medical center committees and meetings.
- You will provide leadership and comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients

You will collaborate with others to resolve medication-related issues, including the development of interventions, monitoring and documentation of actions and outcomes

You will promote and demonstrate pharmaceutical care that optimizes safety, efficacy and cost

You will educate prescribers and other healthcare professionals as appropriate

You will provide training and education to pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, pharmacists and pharmacy technicians as appropriate

You will foster development of non-specialist pharmacist knowledge, skills and ability in providing pharmaceutical care to patients in specialists’ area
