American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedic position requiring at least 1 year of experience and prior travel experience, with night shifts in a smaller, slower-paced facility.

Medical/surgical orthopedic unit within a smaller, slower-paced community hospital setting

Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a, three 12-hour shifts per week
-
Shifts are primarily Monday–Friday, with the possibility of working every Friday or every other Friday

12-week contract with no shifts scheduled the week of Thanksgiving (11/23–11/28)

Floating may be required to affiliated facilities within the health system

Active OH or Compact RN license required

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Med/Surg work setting experience required

2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Former employees of the facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation

Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to placement and built into the contract; RTO is limited to 7 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment

Ohio fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after contract signing — candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
