The Bonding and Coating Assembler applies bonding and conformal coat materials to strengthen and protect circuit card assemblies.
Position Responsibilities:
- Install electronic components onto circuit board utilizing basic hand tools.
- Follow work instructions and router operations to complete necessary work.
- Mix adhesives and bond components to circuit boards.
- Apply liquid, tape and various masking aids to components and boards per work instructions.
- Enter data into company databases to complete operations.
- Interface with Engineers to problem solve or ask assembly questions.
- Follow proper handling procedures while moving components and boards throughout processes.
- Obtain and maintain basic certifications in IPC610 and JStandard001 procedures.
- Mix and apply conformal coatings to circuit card assemblies.
- May perform some or all of the following specific functions: bonding, masking/demasking, spraying, touch-up, and coating re-work.
- Perform other duties as assigned to drove the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization

- Ability to read and comprehend work and process instructions (read/understand schematics, CAD drawings or blue prints)
- Fine motor skills, dexterity, and good eyesight
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Obtains and maintains basic certifications in IPC610 and JStandard001 procedures
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
Work Environment:
- Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Hours 6:00 – 3:30, Monday through Thursday; Friday 6:00-2:30; occasional additional hours as needed
- 9/80 work schedule.
